Agreed. All public records on file have been provided and paid for by the public. And in many cases, the public spends many hours trying to clean up a record that was screwed up by another public servant of one sort or another. And yet..we are locked out of the loop half the time by red tape if we wish access to these records. What gives? What we all need is an online data base chaulk full of PUBLIC DATA. Paid for by..THE PUBLIC. And why not....don't we pay for everything else anyways one way or the other?
